Brief : To develop templates for the nine AMEA Territory Countries: Kuwait, Lebanon, Qatar, UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Egypt, and Jordan.
Overview : Working with IBM, American Express Middle East Area and AMEX Global, new design templates were needed to update the AMEX brand and also be sensitive to the cultural heritage of the region - this involved both imagery, copy and to a certain extent customising the look and feel for each region.
Results : During the project a re-branding of the Global AMEX design templates by GNS, meant that some of the more intricate and country-specific images were not used in the end and a simplified design was developed to maintain parity and continuity with the re-modeled GNS Global guidelines.
The site went live in September 2008.
