Digital and Non-Digital Illustrative Work
Illustrative work includes both digital compositing and more traditional methods, such as paper, pen & paint!
Below are a wide cross-section of commercial projects, from illustrations in identity design to story-boarding ... and some freelance work for both theatre, magazines, CD covers and book jackets.
Digital illustration is pre-dominantly developed in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, whereas traditional illustration techniques include: water-colours, pen and inks, pencil, acrylic and alkyd paints, air-brushing and even on occasion felt-tip pens and biro!
Identity based digital illustration has been executed for work such as The Rate Tart and Rocket Recruitment. Story-boarding techniques can be seen in the Harley Davidson Nightster project and most of the non-digital illustration can be found in either the Theatre Work section or Editorial Work section.
